PURPOSE:To obtain the subject immobilized substance suitable for affinity chromatography, etc., without causing the adsorption of excess protein nor lowering the activity of immobilized active substance by reacting an immobilization carrier with a physiologically active substance and treating the unreacted functional group. CONSTITUTION:The objective immobilized substance can be produced by (1) reacting and bonding a physiologically active substance to a carrier for the immobilization of physiologically active substance or a carrier composed of formed polyphosphazene and containing an organic group having a functional group bondable with the physiologically active substance as the side chain of at least the polyphosphazene polymer of the surface layer and (2) treating the unreacted functional group among the above functional groups, thereby converting the side chain having said functional group into a non-reactive side chain having hydrophilic nature. |
