PURPOSE:To reduce a size of an opening of a ceiling plate, improve an interior feature of a room and prevent a reduction in strength of a ceiling by a method wherein a main body of a ventilation fan is divided into a discharging device, an air supplying device and an adapter frame and the ceiling plate is provided with opening of such a size as each of the devices can pass. CONSTITUTION:An adapter frame 9 is provided with a horizontal plate 9b at a lower end of a vertical plate 9a having an adapter 10 to which a duct communicating with a surrounding atmosphere. It has a flange 9c bent at its extreme end. The flange is inserted through an opening 8 of a ceiling 15 and fixed to a fixing reinforcing frame 14 at an opening peripheral edge. An air supplying device 11 has an air blower and a heat exchanger B. When the air supplying device is oppositely faced against a suction port of the air blower, a part adjacent to the heat exchanger B opposing against it is opened. It is mounted on the horizontal plate 9b of the adapter frame 9 and fixed to it. The air discharging device 1 has an air discharging device and a heat exchanger A. A lower surface opening is provided with a flange 4. It is fixed to the fixing reinforcing frame 14 at the opening 8 in such a way as an air supplying or air discharging passage is concurrently formed. A louver 5 is fixed and then an indoor discharging port 7 is oppositely formed against an indoor suction port 6 and a heat exchanger A3 in opposition to the discharging air blower. |
