The invention relates to a sectional warping machine, of which the system for winding the thread slivers makes it possible to do without the cone conventionally placed at the end of the cylinder. The device which replaces the cylinder extended by a cone is composed of one or two shafts (5) equipped with a fixed flange (16) and with a particular number of movable flanges (8) intended for separating the lays which will consequently be absolutely identical, since they are wound on the inside of receptacles, themselves perfectly identical. The device to which the invention relates is intended for the warping of fabric warps requiring a high degree of uniformity in the tension of the threads. <IMAGE>
