DEVICE FOR HERMETIC SEALING OF VIALS

The device is applied in the pharmaceutical, chemical, perfume and cosmetics industries for hermetically closing/sealing phials. It provides for reliable sealing of phials with great differences in height. It has a simplified and technological design and construction. The device contains a pneumatic cylinder (1) with a moving piston (3) mounted on a hollow pin (2). The piston (3) is fixed to a pipe (4) and a closing sleeve (5) at its lower end. Around the pipe (4) there is a housing (6) with a flexible joint where a centering plate (7) is fixed at its lower end. A piston rod (8) and a spring (9) are with a flexible connection in the hollow pin (2). A support (11) is fixed to the lower end of the hollow pin (2). A guiding sleeve (12) fixed to a flange (13) enclosed by a cap (14) is connected to the support (11) via a flexible joint. There are jaws (16) to the cap on an axial bearing (17). There is a spring (18) between the guiding sleeve (12) and the jaws (16).
