PURPOSE:To measure the degree of the influence of environmental noise onto the transmission by recognizing the reliability of communication quantitatively in the unit of bits with a MODEM tester function. CONSTITUTION:A master station acts like a MODEM tester in addition to the basic function of data transmission by turning on a switch SW1 connected to a microprocessor 5. In this case, a master station sends a bit pattern to a slave station and the salve station sends back the received data to the master station to allow the master station to recognize the error rate in the space transmission quantitatively (in the unit of bits) based on the sent/received data. Thus, the degree of the influence due to noise environment required for the communication with high reliability between the master station and the slave station is measured. |
