PURPOSE:To improve the linearity, dynamic range and response performance by detecting a half wave of an input signal, waveform-shaping the input signal, frequency-dividing the result, selectively outputting positive or negative half wave in response to the result of frequency division and smoothing the output. CONSTITUTION:The circuit consists of a band pass filter(BPF) 41, half wave detectors 42, 45, a phase inversion circuit 44, an adder 43, a noninverting amplifier 46, an inverting amplifier 47, a selection circuit 48, a waveform shaping circuit 49, a frequency divider 50, and a low pass filter(LPF) 51. Then a half wave of an input signal is detected and its inverting component and noninverting component are generated, and the input signal is waveform-shaped, frequency- divided and the inverting or noninverting component is selected corresponding to the result of frequency division and the selected output is smoothed. Thus, the response, the linearity and the dynamic range are improved. |
