PURPOSE:To obtain the optical deflector for which bearings (ball bearings) having inexpensive rolling bodies are used and which is simple in construction by integrally forming the 1st bearing which rotatably supports the revolving shaft of a motor and the 2nd bearing which rotatably supports the 1st bearing. CONSTITUTION:An inside cylinder 4 has a bearing supporting part 6 to be inserted with the bearings at both ends and the plural bearings 10 which are formed of the rolling bodies, for example, balls, rollers, etc., and are integrated with the 1st and 2nd bearings are housed in this bearing supporting part 6. The 1st bearing rotatably supports the revolving shaft 8 of the motor in the inner ring part thereof. Namely, the load by the revolution of the revolving shaft of the motor is absorbed at a certain relative speed by the 1st bearing. Further, the load by the revolution of the 1st bearing is successively absorbed at a certain relative speed by the 2nd bearing. The loads applied on the respective bearings are thereby decreased. The use of the bearings having the simple structure is possible in this way and the entire part of the device constituting the optical deflector is miniaturized. |
