Burner for a gaseous air-fuel mixture, of the sort with a dished part (1) surmounted by a cup (11), with at least one ring of main flame perforations (22) and a pipe for feeding air-fuel mixture (30) with substantially radial extension with respect to the said dished part (1) and emerging in a distributor chamber (5), the said pipe (30) having a substantially radial extension with respect to the said dished part (1) and emerging into a distributor chamber (5) formed between the dished part (1) and the cup (11), of the type comprising, on the upstream side, a injector of fuel gas (43) into an air-injection convergent nozzle (37), characterised in that the air/fuel mixture feed pipe (30) extends largely inside the said dished part (1) to emerge a small distance from the outer wall (4) of the dished part (1) substantially opposite the penetration (32) through the wall (4) of the dished part (1).
