The present invention relates to a broom. This broom comprises a hollow shaft (3) capable of receiving a handle of any diameter, rods arranged about the hollow shaft, a protective sleeve (2) on which a cap (1) is clipped, a first crown (6) mounted with play (8), and a second crown (11) for retaining the rods, which is integral with the hollow shaft and, between its outer edge and the protective sleeve (2), creates a clearance (14) equal to that existing between the first crown (6) and the hollow shaft (3).
