The watch or clock mechanism has at least two motors (1,2) whose rotor (3,15) shafts (4,16) are arranged head to tail so that the free end of a pinion (27) fixed to a rotor shaft extends in a direction opposite to that of the free end of the pinion (30) fixed to the other shaft. Each of the pinions (27,30) is meshed with a toothed wheel (26,29). These toothed wheels are mounted coaxially with respect to each other and on either side of a plate (40). Each of the wheels (26,29) controls directly a pointer (25,28) which indicate a unit of time.
