The device for controlling incontinence comprises a conduit having inlet and outlet openings for receiving, conveying and discharging the urine. It also comprises a support structure 28, 32 for supporting the conduit 12 in its position of insertion, and a discharge control valve 60 which is controlled magnetically by manipulating a portable magnet 76 situated at a distal end of the outside of the conduit of the urethral opening in order to effect a selective control of the flow of urine through the conduit. Application to the control of incontinence without any external collection system and without surgical intervention.
