Guide ring device comprising two rings which can move in rotation with respect to each other by means of bent dovetail linkages and friction blocks interposed between the two rings, characterised in that the inner ring (1) consists of a hoop or a continuous circular sector having a male half-dovetail outer profile, and in that the outer ring includes several individual circular sector portions (3) distributed over the periphery of the inner ring (1) and having an inner female half-dovetail profile inside which the friction blocks (14, 15, 18) are fixed. Such a device can be used for linkage at the bottom and articulation about a vertical axis of the body of a railway vehicle with the bogie which supports it. <IMAGE>
