The control panel for telecommunication devices comprises a grid type mounting frame with a plurality of grid recesses for receiving control inserts. The maintaining frame is put together by selectively fitting together metal strips (1) of varying lengths. The metal strips (1) have, along their length, several equally spaced slits (2) for fitting together with other strips. The control inserts each comprise a metal box (6) enclosed on all sides which have, on their back wall, a cut out portion for receiving a shielded plug device. USE/ADVANTAGE - Television appts.
