PURPOSE:To obviate a need to fill a gap between a weather strip on the hatch side and a retainer with a sealant by a method wherein a communicating groove continued from a guide groove on the inside of a car is formed in a range to a drain groove of a contact surface on the hatch side, a drain passage running from a contact surface on the car body side to the outside of a car is formed in a weather strip on the car body side. CONSTITUTION:Water splashed to the portion on the outside of a car of a weather strip 13 on the hatch side passes through drain grooves 13f formed in contact surfaces 13e on the hatch side of two end parts after the passage of it through guide grooves 13b on the outside of a car. The water passes through a drain passage 8d on the car body side of a weather strip 8 on the car body side and drained to the outside of a car. Water flowing through a gap between the weather strip 13 on the hatch side and a retainer to a guide groove 13c on the inside of a car room is guided by means of the groove 13c and flows through a communicating passages 13g formed in two end parts. The water flows through a drain passage 8d on the car body side continued to the communicating passage and is drained to the outside of a car. |
