<p>A method and a scintillation counter in which quench determination and compensation can be automatically adjusted to fit the scintillation characteristics of each sample separately. This is accomplished by having means for measuring both the quench level of the sample and means for measuring the pulse length of the scintillation pulses from the sample, and means for using both parameters in quench determination and compensation.</p> |
