Interference signal detector at output of HF receiver - compares output signals of two separated input branches at different amplification levels

The arrangement is applied to distinguish between useful signals and interference signals arising from intermodulation. It is based on the comparison of the output signals from at least two separated receiving branches. These branches make use of different superheterodyne frequencies and there is a different amplification, at the same time, before the stages where distortion can arise. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and quick way of determining whether channel has useful or interference signal.
