The hydraulic control device of the invention has a hydraulic-fluid reservoir associated with a pressure space (18) in a magnetic tappet, the reservoir comprising a piston (21), storage chamber (25) and spring (2). The pressure space (18) is located between a piston (13) driven by a cam (4) and a piston (17) which operates in conjunction with the engine-cylinder valve. The cam-operated piston (13) is hollow and the hydraulic-fluid reservoir is located in the hollow interior. |
