PURPOSE:To perform accurate fine adjustment and rapid rough adjustment with simple constitution by changing the motor driving speed of a manual focusing means according to a time from starting an operation. CONSTITUTION:A driving speed change means C is provided, which changes the motor driving speed of the manual focusing means B according to the time from starting the operation. Then, an image is photoelectrically converted by an image pickup means A, the lens is manually focused by the manual focusing means B and the motor driving speed of the manual focusing means is changed according to the time from starting the operation by the driving speed change means C. Thus, the adjustment is performed at a nearly appropriate speed even through the fine adjustment is performed or a distance is largely changed. |
