<p>A mechanical device for impregnating reinforcing fibres with a liquid binder using fibres in the form of matt or cloth fed to a perforated rotating drum under suction and dipped into the binder, or alternatively, by dispersing the fibres in the binder and so depositing the fibres on the drum by filtration to form a matt. In either case, the impregnated fibres on the drum are to be covered with a film to prevent entry of air and to remove excess resin by the effect of the suction in the drum.</p> |
