The silkscreen printing machine is designed to print on the surfaces of objects which have circular or oval cross-sections. The objects (36) are brought to the machine by a conveyor belt (18) which delivers them to a star-wheel (40). The star-wheel (40) has recesses to receive the objects (36) and transfers them to jaws attached to a rotating drum (22). The jaws allow the objects (36) to rotate about their own axes and the drum (22) brings each object (36) in turn the underside of the silk screen (14). The silk screen (14) is pressed against the object (36) by a blade (16). At the same time the screen is moved horizontally at the same speed as the object is moved by the rotation of the drum (22).
