[Also in Division E1] A tool for smoothing a concrete floor while casting comprises a blade 2 carried by a twoarmed member 10 to the ends of which are pivoted links 8 pivoted to the ends of a twoarmed member 5, longer than the member 10, and mounted on the handle 4. This arrangement causes the blade when moved over the floor to assume an oblique position as shown, the pivoting movement of the links being limited by stops 5a, 8a. A reversed oblique position is assumed when the tool is moved in the opposite direction. The position of the member 5 is adjusted by means of the bolt 6 which clamps it to the handle 4. |
