PURPOSE:To facilitate the development and improvement of a program by providing a means which generates module relation information indicating the master-slave relation among modules constituting the program indirectly from source codes which are generated by using an editor. CONSTITUTION:A control part 5 generates a module relation information table 7a and a data definition information table 7b according to an indication from an input part 2 and when a display form definition file 9a is generated, a display control part 10 is actuated to output documents of modulation relation information and data definition information. The module relation information on the program is outputted as a document at an operator's request and the structure relation among the modules constituting the program is displayed as an easy-to- understand document in tree structure representation. Consequently, the development and improvement of the program are assisted effectively.
