<p>A method of manufacturing a metal can, wherein a metal material coated with an organic resin film is subjected to single- or multi-stage deep drawing to manufacture a metal can, a saturated hydrocarbon lubricant is uniformly applied to the organic resin surface of a metal material coated with organic resin, the raw material is subjected to drawing after the coating, so that high lubricating properties can be obtained at the time of drawing with a small amount of coating, only the heating of the can after the forming makes it possible to remove most of the lubricant, printability and flavor retainability can be remarkably improved while a degreasing-washing process and the succeeding drying process, which have been indispensable in the conventional method, are dispensed with, and the resources of water and energy can be saved, thus offering a distinctively improved method of manufacturing the metal can in preventing environmental pollution.</p> |
