A point indicator for indicating a point, which indicator is a sighting instrument comprising screens located above each other, each screen comprising opaque lines, which at least in the screen nearest to the observer are spaced apart by transparent interstices and which in the second screen are spaced apart by transparent or light interstices, which screens are aranged so that a so-called moire pattern is formed when light passes through the screens, which screens form an angle with each other and are arranged so that the moire pattern consists of one or several light or dark bands or areas in parallel with the screen lines when the indicator is observed in a plane perpendicular to the indicator and in parallel with the screen lines. The invention is characterized in that the point indicator (22) comprises at least two indicators (21, 22) located above each other, that a first one (21) of the indicators indicates a first plane, and that a second one (22) of the indicators indicates a second plane (23), which is perpendicular to the first plane and intersects the same. |
