This invention provides a gel-form deodorizer containing chlorine dioxide prepared by the gelation of a stabilized aqueous chlorine dioxide solution using both a polyethyleneimide of a molecular weight of ten to hundred thousand and an epoxide cross-linking agent. This deodorizer is useful for deodorizing sulfur compounds and has a high strength, a long-term stability and a good handlability including exchange thereof because of the solid gel form thereof. |
