The gas-controlling rotating ball has an integral 90 deg. bend bore. It is used for Otto cycle engines and may be known as the Overball principle. The control ball is face ground on the left and right sides and the bore of tunnel is alternatively an inlet and an outlet which connects with the combustion chamber by means of sealing rings. USE/ADVANTAGE - Engine has flow control system designed as an alternative to a conventional valve mechanism.
