<p>PURPOSE:To improve the lubrication performance of a bearing part by installing a sealing member for shielding a space which communicates with a suction part, from a casing, between a turning scroll and a fixed scroll, and forming an oil feeding passage on the outer peripheral side of the end plate of the turning scroll. CONSTITUTION:In the application to a horizontally-placed vacuum pump, a casing 1 is constituted by a bottomed cylindrical casing body 2 and a nearly cylindrical front side casing 3, while a fixed scroll member 13 is fixed at the front part of the front side casing 3. Further, and turning scroll 6 is installed between the front side casing 3 and the fixed scroll 13, and the turning scroll 6 is installed in rotatable manner to the top edge side scroll crankshaft 4A of a driving shaft 4 which is bearing-supported on the bearing part 2A of the casing body 2. A sealing member 21 is fixed airtightly between the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 9 of the turning scroll 6 and the peripheral wall of the recessed part 16 of the fixed scroll 13, while an oil feeding passage 28 having a T-figure-shaped section is formed, keeping a prescribed interval on the outer peripheral side of the end plate 7 of the turning scroll 6, and the bearing parts 3A and 17 are lubricated and cooled.</p> |
