A stepping motor utilized as a driving source for the stepwise movement of a member of an automatic machine. A diode is inserted in the forward direction on the side of an applied D.C. power source terminal to prevent backflow of accumulated magnetic energy to the power source. A large rush current surges into an excitation coil to be energized due to the reduction of magnetic energy, so that accumulation of magnetic energy is rapidly completed. The reduction of magnetic energy of the excitation coil becomes quick, and a high speed stepwise operation is made. Further, the digital signal of each address of a ROM corresponding to the number of steps is read out and converted to an analog signal. Acceleration is made without step-out within a shorter time by the frequency of the stepping electrical signal corresponding to a frequency proportional to this analog signal. When the step number reaches 1/2, read-out of the ROM is inversed and speed reduction is made within a shorter time. Accordingly, numeric control of load movement can be made within a shorter time without step-out. |
