<p>PURPOSE:To detect remaining paper so as to perform appropriate disposal even without a paper detecting sensor at the part of the intermediate rollers of a paper feeding device by constructing an image forming device in such a way as to drive intermediate rollers of the paper feeding device for the specified time at the time of the image forming device being reset after being stopped during its action due to some abnormality and perform the disposal of the remaining paper upon detecting transfer paper by a temporary stop sensor. CONSTITUTION:When an image forming device is reset after being stopped during its action due to some abnormality, the intermediate rollers 26, 27 of a paper feeding device 16 are driven for the specified time. In case there is no transfer paper left at the part of the intermediate rollers 26, 27, no transfer paper is detected by a temporary stop sensor 29 even if the intermediate rollers 26, 27 are driven. The image forming device therefore enters in the idling state. In the case when any transfer paper 12 left at the part of the intermediate rollers 26, 27, this transfer paper is sent to resist rollers 28 with the driving of the intermediate rollers 26, 27 and detected by the temporary stop sensor 29, and the automatic discharge of the transfer paper or the disposal of remaining paper such as jammed paper is performed accordingly.</p> |
