<p>PURPOSE:To execute an operation of investigation of the cause of a fault in a short time by computing the probability of occurrence of a state of each answer on the basis of the result of the answer selected by using a fault tree and by displaying the result of the computation. CONSTITUTION:When it is decided whether or not a diagnostic processing is executed as to specified alarm point and a keyboard 5 for the processing is operated, a first question Q1 relating to a fault of the part of the specified point and answers A1, A2 and A3 thereto and the probability of occurrence of a state of each answer are displayed on a display element 4. When an operator selects the answer A1, for instance, a stack processing of the question Q1 and the answer A1 is executed and then it is judged whether the answer A1 is an answer in the final stage. When it is not the answer in the final stage, a subsequent question and an answer thereto are displayed and this operation is repeated until the final stage is reached. When the cause of the fault is selected and displayed, a learning key is displayed as a part of a function key on the display element 4. When the learning key is once pushed, the number of times of use of all the selected answers is updated in a memory 3a.</p> |
