A fly trap in the form of an elongated ribbon A, the surfaces of which are coated with a layer E of non- hardening, self-adhesive glue which forms a sticky surface on which flies and other insects can get caught. The sticky surface of the ribbon is enlarged by the fact that the ribbon is made up of a number of threads A1-A3, which on the one hand are held mutually together by means of a glue joint F1-F2 produced by the said glue and on the other hand can be moved somewhat apart as the said glue joint is stretched to produce a further enlargement of the sticky surface. <IMAGE> |
