PURPOSE:To prevent harmful substance from being discharged outside a main body and to maintain in-room environment by circulating ozone and dust arising in the device main body by an internal circulating means and removing them in an appropriate position by a harmful substance removing means. CONSTITUTION:A main charger 12, and a transfer/separation charger 16 produce ozone, while toner splashes out of a developing unit 14, a cleaning device 19, etc., and oil mist splashes out of a fixing roller 17, etc., thereby generating dust. These harmful substances are sucked through a duct 31 and a circulating fan 32 provided in the vicinity of them, circulate on a circulating path provided in the main body 10, and are removed by a harmful substance removing filter 40. Fresh air sucked through a fan 22 cools the roller 17, etc., through a cooling duct 24 different from the inner circulating path, and then is discharged from an exhaustion port to the outside. Consequently, harmful substances arising in the device main body are restrained from being discharged outside. |
