PURPOSE:To make a space comfortable for work with more cooling for the upper part of the worker's body than the lower part by forming, for a cooled-air supply port, an outlet at an upper front position in a partition with a cooled-air duct laid in the partition as a passageway therebetween and, for a waste-heat discharge port, an outlet in the bottom side of the partition with a waste-heat duct laid in the partition as a passageway therebetween. CONSTITUTION:When an air-cooling machine 9 is turned on, there arises a circulation of cooled air 18 that flows from a cooled-air supply port 10, through a cooled-air duct 11, and flows out from a cooled-air outlet 12, and then flows over a desk board 1, around its edge 20, and flows into an air inlet 19 of the air-cooling machine 9 provided under the desk board 1, the cooled air thus forming a cooled-air zone 21. The temperature of this cooled-air zone 21 is lower the nearer the position is to the cooled-air outlet 12, that is, it is cooler above the desk board 1 than under it. Waste heat 22 evolved by the air-cooling machine 9 is made to escape from a waste-heat discharge port 13, through a waste-heat duct 14, and from a waste-heat outlet 15 into a space under the floor 16. There is no possibility of waste heat escaping to the room. |
