<p>A protective seat (1) having a protective member (10) provided between a seat belt (7) and a seat body (2) to prevent the seat belt (7) from coming into direct contact with the sheet body (2) when the belt (7) is fastened tight. Also provided are engaging mechanisms (2c, 10d, 11, 12) that allow the protective member (10) to engage with the seat body (2) when a deceleration larger than a specified value is applied to a vehicle. As a result the seat belt (7) does not directly engage with the seat body (2) owing to the protective member (10) when the protective seat (1) is fixed to the car seat by fastening the seat belt (7) after passing it through the mounting hole of the seat body (2). Therefore, the reclining angle of the seat body (2) can be adjusted while keeping the seat belt (7) tensioned. Also, since the protective member (10) is engaged with the seat body (2) by the engaging mechanisms (2c, 10d, 11, 12) when a vehicle is quickly decelerated, the seat body (2) can be securely retained without changing the reclining posture. <IMAGE></p> |
