Known handling devices for loading plate cylinders of rotary printing machines can either serve only a single printing unit or require so much space that they can only be used in relatively small printing machines.
<??>The handling device according to the invention has a robot arm (2) which is mounted so as to be vertically movable and pivotable on a guide (1), is divided into arm sections (7 to 10) by at least one joint (3 to 6), and has a handling head (11) on the arm section (10) which is the furthest away from the guide (1).
