<p>PURPOSE:To lighten the burden on an operator in charge of large-quantity process monitoring operation by storing periodically process input information of a registration item point indication device PID, and displaying a graph on a CRT by using the data. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring function group 13 registers a gathering item PID number in a monitoring function gathering item file group 14 by using a CRT 2 and a keyboard(K/B) 4 and reads a point name, a unit, etc., corresponding to the PID of the registered item out of a process input data base file 15. Then a process variable corresponding to the PID of the registered item is taken out of a process input information file 12 to make a trend display periodically on the CRT 2 and print it out on a typewriter(T/W) 18 optionally or periodically, thereby monitoring and recording a plant state. Further, the process input information of the PID is stored periodically and used to display the graph on the CRT 2, thus monitoring the variation history and variation trend of the process variable.</p> |
