PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable for wheel cap, having excellent appearance, impact resistance, etc., comprising a specific crystalline ethylene- propylene block copolymer, unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative modified polypropylene resin and glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber reinforced resin composition comprises (A) 45-83 wt.% crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer having 3-12 wt.% ethylene component, 0.3-3.5 wt.% low molecular weight component having 1,000-50,000 weight-average molecular weight and 20-100 g/10 minutes melt flow rate, (B) 2-20 wt.% polypropylene resin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative (e.g. maleic acid modified polypropylene resin) and (C) 15-35 wt.% glass fibers and is capable of inexpensively producing wheel cap of automobile, having excellent quality of appearance, impact resistance, rigidity, strength, heat resistance, etc. |
