PURPOSE:To improve the high-temp. durability of a formed ceramic by hanging down the columnar part while holding the large-diameter part, exerting a tensile stress on the entire columnar part and burning the formed ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A bevel part 11 is integrally formed on one end 100 of the stem 10 of a suction valve 1 obtained by forming a ceramic material such as Si3N4 powder, and the weight 2 on the other end 101. The weight 2 is formed in size and weight so that a specified tensile stress is exerted on the stem 10, and a V-shaped annular notched groove 20 is provided at the boundary section between the stem 10 and the weight 2 to ease the detachment after burning. The back 110 of the bevel part 11 of the valve 1 is placed on the upper end 30 of a cylindrical sintering jig 3, the stem 10 is hung from the bevel part 11, the tensile stress due to the weight 2 is exerted and burning is carried out. The valve 1 is detached at the groove 20 of the weight 2, and finished into the end product. |
