The invention relates to a thermoformable laminate comprising: 1) a polyaryl ether ketone sheet with repeating units derived from diphenyl ether, in which a 1,4-phenylene dicarbonyl group and/or a 1,3-phenylene dicarbonyl group is/are linked to one or both of the phenyl rings, where the ratio between the 1,4-phenylene dicarbonyl groups and the 1,3-phenylene dicarbonyl groups is between 70:30 and 0:100, preferably between 60:40 and 0:100 and especially between 60:40 and 50:50, the sheet being about 625-5000 microns thick, and 2) a polyvinyl fluoride film with a thickness of about 12.8-204 microns, which can be thermoformed at a temperature of about 160- 200 degree C and especially 170-195 degree C. An important use of such thermoformable sheets lies in the production of three- dimensional panels for aeroplane interiors. |
