PURPOSE: To effectively ground an easily-worn conductive covering by using a transparent abrasion-resistant conductive covering on the main external surface of a first glass plate as a first conductive covering or strongly capacitively coupling the first covering with a second conductive covering. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic shielding panel uses different low-emissivity types to covering glass plates for two shielding panels 1 and 2. One type of glass plate is composed, for example, of a transparent float glass plate which is coated with a translucent conductive film, has a thickness of 3-5mm, and is held between reflecting preventing layers 7 and 8 made of metal oxide. The electrical conductivity of the glass varies depending upon the thickness and can be adjusted to an order of 2.5 or 10Ω/cm<2> . When a silver layer having a thickness of at least 15nm is used, a covering having a sheet resistance of 5Ω/cm<2> can be obtained. A preferred covering has a thickness of at least 22.5nm so as to obtain a further lower sheet resistance. As the thickness of the silver layer increases, the cost of covering becomes higher, and the light transmissivity of the covering glass becomes poorer. Therefore, it is preferable to adjust the thickness of the silver layer to <40nm.
|
