PURPOSE:To obtain a sublimating-type image receiving medium for thermal transfer recording which has superior releasing property and is usable even in the n-magnification mode requiring high removing property by sequentially laminating on a basic body a layer mainly composed of polyvinyl chloride resin and isocyanate and a layer mainly composed of acrylic urethane silicone resin or silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:This image receiving medium is composed of an image receiving substrate A, a receptor layer B and a releasing layer C. In other words, according to the image receiving medium of this invention, the layer B mainly composed of polyvinyl chloride resin containing active hydrogen and isocyanate and, the layer C mainly composed of acrylic urethane silicone resin or a product of partial hydrolysis of a silane coupling agent are laminated on the substrate A. An image having not only the superior dye ability, light resisting property and preservative property, but considerably superior hardness, friction resistance and removing property even in the n-magnification recording mode is obtained without being molted. |
