<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillation output which always has 50% duty without deteriorating the high frequency characteristics for a variable oscillator consisting of a time constant circuit, a current source, a Schmitt circuit, etc., by providing the specific conditions to the control voltage, etc. CONSTITUTION:A variable oscillator is provided with a time constant circuit 5 containing a capacitor C and a resistance R, a current source 2, a Schmitt circuit 20 having the 1st and 2nd threshold voltages, etc. Then the sum of the terminal voltage of the capacitor C which is obtained when the charged electric charge of the capacitor C is discharged for an infinite period of time and the control voltage VC supplied from a voltage source 6 is set equal to the sum of the two threshold voltages of the circuit 20. Satisfying such conditions makes it possible to obtain an oscillating output which always has 50% duty without deteriorating the high frequency characteristics.</p> |
