PURPOSE: To achieve a uniform degree of frying of polyamide granules without producing fine polyamide particle by a method in which inert gas is introduced into a vertical drier between a drying zone and a heating zone, supplied in a plug flow, and divided into a branch flow going radially inward into the bed of resin granules and a branch flow going outward and inward, and another inert gas flow is introduced in a downward conical contraction part. CONSTITUTION: Resin granules fall from a discharge opening 4 and reach a rotatable sieving ring-shaped body 12 from an introduction port 11. Every rotation of the ring-shaped body, the granules are brought into different two parts, first water is discharged from a water discharge opening 14 and next made to flow down with the inert gas from upward to downward. The inert gas is pushed up in the resin granule deposit 16 in a vertical drier 10, turned upward above the horizontal sieving ring-shaped body, and discharged from a discharge opening 15 through a gas collecting chamber installed below the ring-shaped body. |
