PURPOSE:To improve compatibility with relative members by performing thickness adjustment work for the formation of th eye part of a stabilizer for a motorcar so that the thickness of the tube material end part of a material is a half as great as that of a necessary fitting surface. CONSTITUTION:The eye part of a stabilizer is formed by using a tube material 2' which has a tube diameter D1 and thickness T1 selected freely with priority given to elasticity. In this case, if the T1 is greater than the half H of thickness 2H required for compatibility, the thickness of the tube material 2' when both end parts are expanded to a tube diameter D1' is H. When the thickness T1 is less than the H, the thickness H of the tube material 2' with a tube diameter D2' is obtained by contracting both the end parts, thus forming the eye part which has a fitting surface 5 with annular swelling edges 6 and necessary thickness 2H. |
