PURPOSE:To provide a simple arrangement for a burner, capable of controlling the speed of gaseous fuel jetting from a burner nozzle automatically and in a balanced manner to suit the combustion heat, by providing in a fuel passage thermally movable, fuel-speed controlling members which causes displacement in response to the combustion heat produced at the burner nozzle. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting combustion when a burner nozzle 4 is not warmed, thermally movable members 7 of bimetals 6 are projected inwards in the manner of reducing the sectional area of a fuel passage, so that the speed of gas fuel flow toward a burner nozzle 4 is decreased gradually by the resistance of the thermally movable members 7 and speed reducing function of an enlarged space 9. Therefore, fuel is burnt at a rate to suit the combustion speed. On the other hand, when the burner nozzle 4 is heated sufficiently, opening of the nozzle 4 is increased, so that fuel jetting speed is lowered. |
