PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a photographing part and to reduce the weight of a device by providing a radiation shielding plate in such a way that a stimulable phospher sheet is evaded from being irradiated with X rays in/out of irradiation field. CONSTITUTION:In a radiograph photographing device 10, the stimulable phospher sheet IP is used for connecting the photographing part 12 and an image reading part 14 via carrying systems 28 and 36, and the photographing part 12 is constituted so as it is freely displaced to an object. A single radiation shielding plate 192 is provided on the back part of the photographing part 12 to the radiation in the irradiation field from a radiation source, and one or more radiation shielding plates 192-198 are provided so as to wrap and protect the carrying systems 28, 36, and 38 of the stimulable phospher sheet IP, to the radiation out of the irradiation field. Thus, the simplification of a photographing part structure is improved, and to reduce the weight of a photographing base itself is achieved. Furthermore, maintenance control is simplified.
