PURPOSE:To effectively rewrite the set-up information by providing a means which rewrite sequentially the set-up information stored in an EEPROM after the set-up information stored in a RAM is rewritten. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 serves as an arithmetic processing means which sets a function in an ON state of a power supply in accordance with the set-up information. An EEPROM 2 serves as a storage means which can hold the store information even in an OFF state of the power supply. A RAM 3 serves as a storage means which reads the set-up information out of the EEPROM 2 and stores it. Then a ROM 4 serves as a storage means which stores the firmware. The set-up information stored in the EEPROM 2 is sequentially rewritten by the CPU 1 after the set-up information stored in the RAM 3 is rewritten. In such a constitution, the set-up information stored in the store means like the EEPROM 2, etc., can be rewritten with no input required for a write command, etc. Then the rewriting efficiency is improved for the set-up information.
