a) Method for the continuous anti-blocking treatment of a strand of permanent adhesive material, more particularly a hot-melt adhesive at the output of an extruder mixer, as well as an installation allowing implementation of this method and product thus obtained. b) The method is characterised in that an anti-blocking agent is sprayed onto the surface of the strand (7), this agent being compatible with the material constituting the strand and involving no physico-chemical modification of this material so as to deposit a fine powdery film at its surface, the strand thus coated is cooled and then cut up to the desired length and the fragments thus obtained are immediately packaged without additional precautions. The installation is characterised in that it includes an extruder mixer (1) having a variable die (2), at least one station (3, 3') for spraying the anti-blocking agent, at least one cooling station (4, 4'), a station (5) for cutting into fragments and a packaging station (6). <IMAGE>
