<p>PURPOSE:To diminish a tape floating amt. in a part of bumping into a head and to prevent an envelope level from dropping by eliminating one part of an opposite part to an upper rotary drum in an outer circumferential part position except a tape wrapping part. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 9 are processed in a prescribed shape and number on the upper rotary drum 1 for the purpose of making an air film thickness appropriate. Then, a required number of magnetic heads 11 and head fitting windows 10 are disposed on a lower part of the upper rotary drum in the vicinity of an opposite part to a lower drum. A disk 4 is fitted to a drum motor 6 by a shaft 14, and the disk 4 is rotated at high speed by the drum motor 6. On the other hand, an air outflow groove 7 is disposed on the side of the lower fixed drum 2 in a position on the opposite side to a tape wrapping lead surface 3, and when the upper rotary drum is rotated at high speed, air inside the drum is discharged from the air outflow groove 7. By this method, the tape floating amt. in the part of bumping into the head can be suppressed, thus ensuring no envelope level drop in the part of bumping into the head.</p> |
