PURPOSE:To reduce a manhour to contain an in-process state by a method wherein, in a device to feed parts contained in a tray by means of an exchangeable pallet, a mark to indicate the head position in the tray is provided, and through detection of the mark, a head part placing position is decided. CONSTITUTION:In a tray 2 on a pallet 6, provides a direction X in which the pallet 6 is drawn out is a line and a direction crossing the draw direction at right angles is a row, a plurality of lines and rows are formed on a part placing part 36. In this case, the head row of the part placing part 36 is the rightmost side and the head line thereof is the topmost side. An in-process mark 37A indicating an in-process state is provided in a part placing place 36 located one place on this side of a part 3 taken out next time when the pallet 6 is fed in an in-process state, and an in-process mark 37B is provided in the head part placing place 36 of the row. The in-process marks 37A and 37B are detected by means of a sensor 40 to decide an in-process position. |
